Roadrunner 3 Training Manual

1)  The First thing that you must do to start using your Pic32 is to install the downloads below. The CD comes with all of the necessary installations.

 

     a)   Last version of MPLAB.....> MPLAB 8.60:

          Or find the Latest version of MPLAB on the microchip website: http://www.microchip.com/ 

 

    b)  http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=2615&dDocName=en532454) Just scroll to the bottom of the page, you will then see a box labeled "Downloads". In that box, under "Title" find      "MPLAB C Compiler for PIC32 v1.05 Evaluation Version" which is the third item on the list.

 

     c) You must also download the USB driver for the Pic32. Again you CD comes with the necessary driver. Then connect USB cable between host PC and board, and select "Find Automatic" when prompted for a USB driver.     d)  Installing PIC32 Starter Kit on Windows Vista 32-bit edition (5 mins)
